Memories haunt me

I miss the days

when I smiled and laughed

but nowadays

it feels like I've hit rock bottom

cant seem to smile

no matter what's going on

can't fall in love

even though I've found the one

the memories won't go away

they just haunt me

and everything I do

wish I could say goodbye to them

Wish I could just live my life

but they haunt me

don't wanna be here any longer

i don't wanna die though

I just want to feel happy again

I think I've been patient

but these memories make me wait

taken five years

just to get this far

but they still haunt me

why can't they just go away
