Memories Keep Me Company

What would I do without my memories? They are more important to me than the US Treasury. As I examine them I find, It’s a great way to pass the time. With them I can stay alive and even thrive. They are easy to pull out to review when I am feeling blue. Memories of times past, help me to stay steadfast. Within my minds-eye I see the tapestry of my family, Or myself when I was in my prime. Was I ever able to make that climb? I can never be lonely with these pictures I hold, My life has a richness that is untold, With memories more precious than gold.
