Memory
out of bounds, I
entered the room
to find I had found
my peace of mind
she sang a free chord
solitude
echoing
there were no doors
a little keyhole on one side
but the light that shone throughout
the room
left me breathless
speechless
so that when i was there no longer,
outside looking in
I began to listen
a silence speaking from within.
