A Memory

Sky as blue as the Caribbean sea,

Sun shining bright.

A smile. A laugh.

A melody. A dance.

Sky turns as black as onyx,

Sun eclipsed by massive grey clouds.

A gasp. A shock.

A tear. A moment.

Sky fills with bolts of lighting,

The clouds pouring buckets of rain.

A strike. Another.

A wound. Another.

Sky clears to a pale blue, almost grey,

Sun peaks through puffs of white clouds.

Yet the wounds are still there,

They didn't leave with the storm.

The ground is nothing but shiny red,

Black hair resting on pale white, cold shoulders.

Alone. A girl.

A shatter. A moment.
