Memory

Memory Of what? Who? I remember days Rain and sun With family Friends I remember losing Fighting Crying All for nothing Except a memory I remember Do they? Should they? I don't know So I remember For them And for me I love life So I remember I care about the past And the present Alongside the future So I remember Three little kids One grows up One stays the same but gets older One becomes a new person Who should I follow? Who should I remember? I will remember What I can Because that is my choice Memories over hate I remember cleanly Without bias This is the price of a memory The choice you make with it I will make my choice Will you? Will they? If you can, you should Remember

I am a student in a rural Midwest town. I hope someday to be a lawyer or a psychologist. Remember to always live life to the fullest because you never know where life will take you. Be the light! Leave a comment if my poem meant something to you☀
