memory

The world’s best computer

Here in my head,

Is all I need

Until I am dead.

The ability to reason

And think and decide,

If I should run

Or if I should hide.

For when its not working

I am lost and confused,

Living in a body

I don’t know and can’t use.

A prison of the mind

In a body too young,

Drifting aimlessly

Like a song left unsung.

It is my power

May it never stall…

When it stops working

There’s no me, at all.
