Memory

If i had to take one thing? I'm easily taking the vault of memories I have stored in my head along with the philosophies, wonders, and random song lyrics that I have stored there. I mean, how could I choose something else? If I couldn't take my memory, I'm not taking a book; how could I read it anyway? If I chose something other than taking my memory I would just be a blank-minded animal surrounded by paradise with nothing to worry about, no failures to torment myself about, no loves lost, and an endless supply of coconuts. I would hope so, anyway. The further along I make it in this essay and search for one thing to keep me happy, I would have to say I would take nothing. Not even the thoughts I've compiled in a lifetime to make me who I am. Ignorance truly is bliss and what better place to be entirely ignorant than a lonely paradise?
