Memory

This agony is prolonged

The belief of a better inevitability

Seared away are the emotions

The pity of another is scorching

Happiness; A lie one tells oneself

Suffering is the flame of life

Only through the heat can we forge on

The small moments of pleasure

The false acceptance in a bitter truth

Moving on is but the separation of the soul

Hollow; leaving space for something more
