A Memory is all That it is

You were here

Bright colored Lights

Shined beneath of what we used to call a happy memory

Short Black hair, looking into those dark almond shaped eyes

A memory is all that it is

Thin crooked smile that made me wild for a while

A memory is all that is

Kissing you

A memory is all that it is

To feel you too but

Why do I still want you?

To hear your lies

That were always in disguise

To break me again

Even when back then when-

Oh wait

It doesn’t matter

A memory is all that it is

Yeah there was distance

But we were young and dumb

And in love

Or at least I was

You left me

Told me you would always love me

Told me you would always support me

Empty promises is what it came to be

Broken promises

But then again

A memory is all that it is

Oh you beautiful boy

Full of pride

Full of foolishness

Full of lies

You fooled me twice

But then again

A memory is all that it is

Because I love you

I must leave you

From my eyes

From my heart

From all my ties

You are poison that lies

So now I put my pride up high

And say my goodbye

Now I’m free-

Free to be me!

Colors is all that I see now

Shapes

From the bright lights that shined beneath us

Short black hair, looking into those dark almond shaped eyes

Thin crooked smile that made me wild for a while

Kissing you

To feel you too

I love you

But then I remember

A memory is all that it is

And now you’re gone
