In memory of Emily

Emily is one of a kind.

Emily is bright but quiet.

her glasses glimmer, smile contempt

her presents brings ease off the room.

her voice soft and kind, practically a chime.

This was too soon to be her time.

Emily became ill.

Emily became brave,

She became strong.

She became a hero and fought this crime

This was too soon to be her time.

Emily was innocent, at the age of 13.

Emily was smart.

Her creativity brought out the best.

her wishes thought out sweet to the dime.

This was too soon to be her time.

Emily is Amazing,

Emily is kind.

She has the passion, she has the drive.

And most of all she's a friend of mine.

This was too soon to be her time.
