In Memory of the Future
One day, some people got together
To talk about the weather.
The weather wasn't exciting,
Soon, they started fighting.
The fighting started spreading.
Soon, they were beheading,
And then there were preemptive strikes.
And lots of angry Facebook likes.
But finally, we’d had enough
Put it out with one big puff.
And as we poked through the rubble
Asked aloud, “why all this trouble.”
No one really knew the answer.
And, it seemed, we all had cancer.
So we dug into a hill.
And took a radiation pill.
