A MEMORY - Italian Sonnet

As I was swinging,
I thought of days long gone,
When we swung at dawn,
We'd always feel like flying.

My brother whom I am missing,
He always had a smile on,
I hate that he's gone,
My brother is missing everything.

He started drugs,
He stopped going to school,
My parents won't let him come home.

My heart feels like a rug,

And all I have are tools,

Maybe we can build a new home.
