Memory Lane

As I walk down this street through memory lane I see a shadow of a soul that was filled with pain I see wings that are meant to fly Misery in her eyes A raw sick poison that is her life Disease, but of the mind All i  feel is numbness as i look up at the sunny sky As her long hair brittles in the wind Heavy tear's  that fill her eyes Distorted images of perfection that fill her mind Sulken cheek bones Tell the story of her lies As her fists  clunch harder than an angry storm in the rain Streams of sorry rushing down her face The rocks beneath her feet Tred carefully on her weak feet Fragile bones that tell her Just eat As she ties back her brittle locks Puts on her favoruite frock She finds comfort within the food That is her rock Exhausted on the floor Palpations that roar She reaches to swallow the deadily pills Just once more ... I saw the devil that day in my eyes I must fight I must survive
