memory poem

I knocked on the door with scream of terror on the inside as hard i could but he had locked it. i yelped for help but no one heard my cries, or maybe they just seem to ignore. the woman was trapped. after a few minutes he had finally opened the door frightfully enough for me to jump. Bruises on the woman arm and face was all that i seem to pay attention to. eight years later i saw the woman at her happiest, she had finally found peace. The man was no longer there to hurt her for his shame he had done. She had the biggest, brightest, prettiest smile i seen on her face in a long time. The woman was able to live freely, and love herself again. I was able to be happy knowing that the woman is now happy. I am no longer knocking on a trapped door.
