Memory – vorous / Abu Karim

Passing away nature, and trampling it,

Expecting urban voluptuousness,

I have made all through darkness the companion

of my heart. I have sent the green to exile,

and I have devoured nature.

A lorry driven with petrol

has trampled my adolescence.

Now bedridden, I feed on the memories;

take all the digesting extracts from memories.

I drink my own darkness to the lee drenching it

in my memories like tasteful ice cream.

I finish icy poison within a second.

In the loveless world I see yellow deaths everyday

in the trampled daily routine. Love is nowhere.

Even like the leftover food crisps there is no sign of

love left like the biscuit particles for ants.
