Memphis

(poems go here) The murder capital of the nation, but the home to Elvis and to the blues, Beale Street Growing up in Memphis is not the place to be, because a lot of teenagers are carrying that heat. You might ask what heat that I am referring to is, and it is guns They are shooting for anything, even the air in their lungs. Guns are not used to defend people anymore; it is used for a threat This is not the way I want my children to grow up Education is more important than shooting something up
