A Mended Broken Heart

All the lies that you told, Years of distrust. All the lies that you hold, Still misleading Your loved ones, your family, Like you did with me many years ago. You were my lover, Now we don’t talk at all. Our relationship started big, But ended small. I knew the truth, After years of lies. Now that I know the truth Who knows what other secrets you hold. But it’s not my problem now. You moved on and so did I, To bigger and better things than you. Every time I’m close, I’m reminded of you. Your memories haunt me, But they are not my problems anymore. You deceit me, But you did not defeat me.
