The Mental Closet

Trapped

That's how I felt

When you hear how Negative

Others see you

Without you being You.

My mind

Is what keeps me back

From showcasing

Who I was

And who I am now.

Freshman year

High School career

The Glass Closet

Shattered

And I was left standing there.

From then on

Adulthood is the future

Courage to face the unknown

Is the best coming-of-age

One can experience.
