Mental Illness

Storming into the Blue
I cannot find myself
What does good
feel like?
I am too far gone
No one will help me
No one can help me
Is this how my life is
supposed to be?
Collapse onto the
ground and watch
them stare
They don't know
why, but you do
Run away from
the current
moment
You weren't sick
You ran from your
own thoughts
Thoughts of a blade
running through your
skin and cutting deep
straight through your
pale white flesh
That scary thought
made you run,
But Darling,
you can't run
from yourself.
