Mental Illness

This is for the guys and girls who struggle and preach

For the people who go through a time,

A time when every door they see, seems impossible to reach,

Shake The Dust

This is for the ones who hear screams and laughter

But, others hear stillness

This is for the ones that have blurs,

On this earth, they see no differences between what’s real or what’s not,

Shake The Dust

This is for the ones, who go through pain,

The ones who are eager,

This is for the ones, who feel like they’re getting dragged by a chain,

Shake The Dust

This is for the ones who believe and smite

This is for the ones who want to do right,

Shake The Dust

This is for the ones that are called ‘crazy’

This is for the ones that want to see clearly,

Shake The Dust

Because I know that there is no bigger pain than what they go through.

Because there is no cure for the things that have been occurring,

Because there is no one out there which thinks they can be true,

Shake The Dust

Because you can be anything

You will get through

The future is bright for you even though you can feel the sting,

Shake The Dust

This is for the ones who cry at night

This is for the ones who struggle with a fight,

Shake The Dust

This is for the ones who constantly get judged

The ones who judge have no idea of the longing pain inside them

They have never encountered it

This is for the ones who get blamed and treated differently,

Shake The Dust

So when there is blockage in that bright future of yours, try as best as you can and pull and tear the blockage away

Don’t wait to make a difference, just go for it

Even when you cannot make out what is right in front of you and what others cannot see, try to act positive and happy, for what comes next in the timeline can be an enormous gift.
