Mental Pain
The shard of glass inside of your heart that slowly makes it way to the vessel of your feeling. The Pain that feels your body making you quiver and crippled, the very ability to move. The very Pain that makes you cry tears of blood and wipe it with the pieces of skin that you cut off. To feel this very pain is almost as if you were being hit by a car everyday but with small hard hits to make sure it last. The screams you screamed at night from the bones that were broken but no one can hear is the Pain. The pain of taking the knife and sliding it on your chest to make a cross so that God would see your hurt.
One day the roses and sunflowers will grow in the dry patch of grass and give of that lovely sense of relief. Giving you this profound feeling of numbness but as of right now those doors are closed and the rush of pain is going to keep coming and then you sit on your bed and realize you won’t die a painful physical death but a mental one because no one can see the scars but you.
