Mental trail
Words sharp and dark
spread like a disease
and settle around you
Stuck in the thick haze
you breathe it in
Negativity travels through your lungs
and up into your mind.
To free yourself,
force your mind to take a walk
soak in the sun
notice how its extending rays lightly touch on a
cluster of leaves to
create abstract shadows
Tan in the bright, warm words and
breathe in fresh air
Melt away your stress
Your mind is now cured and free
Don't let others' sharp words cut you
only a diamond can break itself
