Mentor Of Mine

Oh mentor of mine, how you've shown me so much.

I can only wish I'll show my kids how you've taught me.

You've taken me to brunch, and sometimes even lunch

You have shown me the women I want to be.

From schoolwork, to housework,

you've shown me how our lives work.

Thank you for all you do for me

From creating me, to making me who I want to be.

My dear mother, for you is whom I've written this

it is you who I miss.

It stabbed me like a knife,

Always your baby, thank you for life.
