Mentorship

A mentor is someone

Someone who is a hero to you

A hero doesn't have to be someone you know

Just someone who has made a difference

A difference in life overall

My mentor is my mother

My mother taught me strength and positivity

The strength to move past my disability

To realize I am stronger becuase of it

I am not my disability- Positivity

I am not weak or selfish

I am simply doing what my mentor taught me to do

To look after myself first, then others

To be strong, positive, helpful, and kind

My mentor showed me the world of postitivity

In hard times I think of my mother

The will she has for me to get better

And move past my disability

So thank you mother, for being my mentor
