Mentsasa
The future was molded from within
Intermingling love and affection as its link to bond
My mother's present , adorned with me.
She held a new universe in her arms
A precious gift she gave her oath to protect.
My aura was a radiant gold
My eyes determined and confident
My words melodious to man's soul.
The moon peaked and pulled the ocean toward it
The stars in the night sky glowed brilliantly
A celestial sanctum went beyond my eyes
Settling in my soul intractely designed
My existence was given way by Universal Entities.
Like a tree embedded on the earth's surface
My feet, the roots connecting me to my ancestors
And the leaves of my hair absorbing the extra melanin of my skin
I bow to the wind when the rain pours
and embrace the sun when it shines
I remain constant because I am a part of nature herself.
And nature is a part of myself.
