Merciful God

My soul worships the deity present among us... Oh Merciful God I so humble upon your presence, immortalized for all eternity on my knee's where I praise and glorify upon your Sanctuary... King of King's divine upon his beauty, with hair white as wool and when his eyes inflamed like fire met with me I trembled... Upon his burnished brass feet I fell as a voice of many rivers spoke and peace came upon me... Enlightened though I walk through the Valley of Shadow of Death I fear no evil... Marching focused forward towards Mount Calvary where I shall stand tall and await faithfully, until the end of time I shall Praise Thee'...

Iz Da Realist Poet

Raised in the midst of a housing complex was never an easy task for IzyC. For as long as Ismael Cruz, Jr. can remember, he has always used his artistic abilities to escape into a fantasy realm. His parents tried their best to give him some form of serenity within their household, even if his rebellious side kept telling him he did not fit in. Being around a violent drug-filled community was a survival within its own where most of the friends you once knew were buried in dirt at such an early age. Even as a child Ismael has always dreamt of a peaceful place where a hammock and watching the sun settle in the horizon was the vision, his story was far from what he would dream of, unfortunately. Ismael was raised into a man who has seen, felt, struggled and endured heart-breaking pain. He has fought without ever giving up an inch for his own beliefs setting himself free from shattered visions. He has written Diary of Poems to express feelings and experiences in the life he has seen. He continues to reach hoping to someday teach others of the positives life can have in the negatives thrown in our direction daily. Certainly hoping these realistic writings would make a difference to you as it has done for him.
