mercy
mercy,
is what i begged for,
mercy,
i pleaded no more,
seeing that red impala,
running from an opening window heat hotter than a sauna,
the loud gunshots,bleading eardrums,
the screaming of my friend makes my feet numb,
i turn back to look in utter dis-belief,
mercy,
blood running from his back down to his feet,
red triggers the anger thats within,
mercy,
have mercy on no men,
its what i pleaded when he took his last breath,
its what i thought about when i said "whats next",
he told me to" run and to never look back",
so i ran forward and saw what the future is going to lack,
the sound of gunshots echos inside my head,
i take pitty on myself, whyy i havent even bled,
mercy,
my past please have mercy on my future,
will i ever win or will i always feel like a loser,
mercy,
is there any in the world,
please have mercy im just a young girl,
