Mercy

Mercy

I watch my men die,

wondering if I should heal.

Sorrow consumes me.

Sorrow for the lives,

yes, but what am I to do?

Have mercy on me.

The guardians rise,

saving earth from destruction.

I am the backbone.

Death may be plenty,

but I will resurrect you.

Heroes never die.
