Can't write, can't breathe
Late nights, no steam

The engine lost the train,
Lost its bark, lost its name
Lost in translation,
Need a vacation
Where did you go
out there,
lying low

Shots overhead,
Better speak, better run
Through the leaves,
Between the lines,
Down into the thresh

Frozen warrior
On a battlefield of loops and signs,
Strategy games,
And losing only Time

Time, Time,
How long until He claims me?
A life measured by the rhyme,
Worthless - when words resist to be

Worthless when the sky turns merely blue,
The grass only green
Worthless, when I've died before I could write.
