Merlin

It's Marlin, you fool.

He goes by Marlin now.

As he lowers his head

And furrows his brow

Those magical spells

That brought him fame

Also brought burdens

For his love, the same.

What a curse its been

To seek his own life!

And perhaps a child

For him and his wife.

Those from his past

Who remember the cambion

Want him back

Demanding this man again

Who fought for them once

cast spells from cursed hand

But Alas! He lost

Falling in Broceliande.

He clawed his way free

though wand he did give

So the myth might die

and Marlin might live.
