The Merry Song Will Go On

The power lies in me to change

The world or little things

The possibilities now range

But darker songs my heart now sings.

I wish for peace, I wish for power

Wars come and go within my soul

I sit under a pleasant bower

And taste the sweetness from my bowl

To wish for good seems kind enough

To those without the Paw

Reality comes in so gruff

With toothed and gaping maw

And so you see, to wish for things is ever very wrong

The world'll sing without your wish, its dark yet merry song
