Mess I Made

Mess I Made "We all make a mess" they say. "It's ok it can be fixed" they say. "It's not too bad" they say. But what happens when you make a mess that can't be fixed? What happens when you make a mess that is bad? "You should try this" they say. "Do this and it'll be ok" they say. But what if it'll never be ok. The damage is done and hearts were destroyed. Nothing can ever undo the mess I've made. A mess left behind for someone else to clean. "It's ok I can handle it" they always say. But what happens when the true mess is revealed? "I didn't know it was this bad" they say. "Nothing can be saved" they say. "Why'd you do this" they all start to ask. I don't know why I made this mess. I swear I didn't mean to. Sounds like a child who broke their favorite toy. "Didn't you care about it" they ask. "Didn't you stop and think" they ask. But just like children we don't stop and think when we've made a mess until we see the unwanted truth. I did care but sometimes we destroy the things we care about. "Don't worry you can always replace it" they say. But what happens when you get tired of replacing broken piece after broken piece? What happens when this time there is no replacement? I want the one I destroyed. No more messes no more toys. I wanna fix it. "I don't think that's possible" they say. But you never know until you try. But in case I can't fix this mess I made. I apologize in advance to whoever follows behind.
