Messy

Smoke escapes from simple lips Joints move mechanically to beating hearts And elaborate flashing lights, bolted to innocent hips. Polish us sterile. All of our parts. Rain falls to clean, but only rust appears. Showers mixed in polluted smog power through. Acid rain, to softly wipe away fears. The fear of what we’ve seen from our view. Looking down, we see our mess Swells of steel scattered deep in judgment This town can scarcely inhale our progress. Yes it was an accident. But this is our crime scene, The mess off man and machine.
