Metamorphosing

“ is me this chrysalis through this metamorphosis I’m emerging from this Metamorphosis Through this Chrysalis This Me Is Metamorphosing It is now my life a past through the looking glass Taking countless lives Sewn together forming my past Dreaded the sorrows yesterdays that always came before open up my tomorrows for all the future yesterdays no more Realist Synthesis Alchemists Realize this Metamorphosis Is what is in all of this For you again Metamorphosing Open up the eyes Or gouge them out in sorrow Stitches hold the tide Of lies back there’s no tomorrow Stem the tide Just rise to die cicadas will say Sew it up tight Where have you gone with my yesterdays A patchwork quilt lost and stolen memories you wallow choking on your guilt Sewn together now made to swallow Metamorphosing All of this metamorphosis This is now Me the Last Thing That you’ll see Before I put you to sleep”
