Metamorphosis

We must find a solution

For this pollution

And find restitution

For what was lost in view

Because I cannot lose you

Due to

My own miscue

This will be inconclusive

If we don’t act fast

This is going to ensue

If you don’t come through

Throw away the past

And let’s start brand new

The time is passed

We cannot redo

So, let’s move on

And breakthrough

The walls between us

Because to me they’re meaningless

They can’t separate me from you

No matter how hard they try

They will never outdo

We’ll make it through

We’ll find our own avenue

They will collapse, but

Don’t pick up the scraps

Don’t get caught up in the traps

Don’t relapse

Instead grasp

Onto me

I got you baby

It’s in the past

And we are never going back
