Methodical in labor

Proverbs 6:6

Go to the ant, you sluggard:
observe her ways and be wise!

Methodical

Where is inspiration possibly only in hard work?

Where is the stroke of gentleness in self-admiration?

Is not where the eagles fly where the wind always blows

and its flying path is paved with self-determination?

Without labor and busyness would any survive?

Even to escape from work takes lots of energy.

Think about the effort as a lazy mind contrives

to get all it can get for free in its own synergy.

Drapes before a window keep some privacy.

A wall around the heart is no great defense.

It only keeps in what is not worth the keeping

and dresses all this up in false pretense.

Glasses glued on some one’s nose does not guarantee vision.

Blindness is a definite choice that is not beyond one’s scope.

Most of our encounters rest on our own decisions

and the resentment of facts have us cling to idle hopes.
