I

you forget manhattan is an island

until you're racing over the bridge

cause you always felt the link,

wires buzzing down under the shore

II

sitting on the subway with visions

of a new sky to build the city

doesn't seem so small

III

these metal dragons, limbo,

the vaccuum, the heat,

steel drums, mosaics,

bodies cascading from the platform,

8 million all alone and all together

IV

here at home, one swipe &

you're somewhere foreign &

the city never ends

I love to ride the subways as far as they go just to see new places - the city is infinite with people and sights !!
