Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick

Time spent wasted

Staring at black and white

Hands resting on ivory

Time keeps going

Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick

Tick, Tick, Tick, Dum

Something clicks, triggering interest

Fingers are sinking, ears are ringing

The air is changing

Tick, Tick, Tick, Dum

Tick, Tick, Ba, Dum

Harmonies created like two birds singing at the same time

A foot is sinking into the softness and steady pace of a flowing river

Tick, Tick, Ba, Dum

Tick, Ting, Ba, Dum

Nothing else matters

Notes are being etched into memory

Both hands are now moving in unison

Tick, Ting, Ba, Dum

La, Ting, Ba, Dum

A sound escapes from the red lips

Eyes are closed

Mind is open

Music is made

La, Ting, Ba, Dum
