Mexican

The words flow from my mouth like alphabet soup.

It feels natural like singing or dancing.

When I start, I cannot stop.

It is like an outlet I can't unplug,

music I can't stop.

When I talk, I feel on top of the world.

Like a rocket going to the moon and back.

I understand some don't know the feeling.

But that doesn't stop me from speaking it.

I am like a dictionary you cannot close.

But I am also there to help others in both languages.

Because I was born this way.

I AM LATINO

I am proud of my heritage.

That is just as I am.

Now, this is the end.

But I am never going to be finished.

I have the last word.

I speak free

My life in art

Poet's are meant to be heard.. I am a young girl. I believe that writing is an AMAZING outlet. Do yourself and your emotions a favor... WRITE POETRY.. writing is not the same as standing up for yourself though. MAKE your voice heard. And don't stop until it is.
