Mi Querida

Querida:

There's hole in me that I keep trying to close

But it's no good.

The edges keep ripping wider and tearing out the harder I tug

And the hole just gets wider and wider

And

It's eating me up.

It takes my nights away

Leaves me empty now

During dreams and daylight

And I can't make it stop

And

If you were here

I feel like you'd do something

Take some glue or something

Stitch up the seams

Bind down the corners

Something

But

You're not

And the hole gets bigger

...

Con amor,

Tu querido
