Of Mice and Snow

Layers of snow blankets the buffet

Hawks circle high in the cold

Below, nothing but white.

Underneath though, so many little mice

Burrowing and plowing their life along a way

until coming to a crossroad, and taking a dare to dash

What comes first, a tire rolling

or a shadows success?
