Michael

I'll come over after school

We'll sit on the couch and watch our shows

You're silly and you make me laugh like a fool

With cheeks flushed and stomach aching, you'll kiss my nose

Some days make me blue

Like I can't see past the rain

Then the love from you

Allows me to unplug the drain

Those hugs and kisses and acts of kindness are so true

With me you are so gentle

You treat me like I am the most precious flower

Sometimes our love makes me feel mentle

With you by my side I do brave things and never cower

Because I love you

And you love me too
