Middle School

Everything is scary
In the middle school.
No one ever said sorry,
Everyone was cruel.

Fourth grade it was,
I could never forget.
These monsters who taught me
The phrase, "revenge and regret".

Murals, art works, all painted
Got stomped on the floor
They're gone, ripped, tainted.
I wish I could open a door,

An escape, a universe,
Certainly somewhere not here
Disappear, disperse,
Anywhere away is okay for this fear

School was scary
Who would have thought?
The cruelest people
Would be small as a knot?

Can't there be a way for these children to feel
Compassion, some sympathy,
Stop the bullying, the popularity?

There were teachers, surely
They all tried their best
But that isn't enough
Please, parents, adress

The harshness, the sadness,
We must stop these innocents
Bullying will always be this harsh reality
That makes innocent's lives flee
