The Middle of Starting Over


Masks of make up, I have not.

Emotional barriers put up on all fronts,

stripped away reveals a young child,

constantly looking to please those around her.

Insecurity and abuse,

leaves her with a heavy heart.

In the middle of starting over,

the mask is placed back on,
