Midnight

Lying in bed with the darkness dancing around the room The darkness is filled with laughter Laughter from the past, the present, the future The laughter is from the monsters that haunt your dreams At midnight they come out and play You try not to make a sound For if you do they will grab you and drag you under… to their abyss The more you try to stay hidden under your covers The slippery they start to fill One more tug to the chin, off it will go You will become open… open for the hunt You can already smell their musk odor all over you Don’t look or it will be the end You hear a howl outside your window The howl is the warning sign for morning The monsters slowly crawl back to their abyss You step down…they grab you, under you go. Then you wake up and you think it was just a dream Or was it?

Witness-of-the-Faith
Very good. I'll definitely be thinking about this when I go to sleep tonight...
