Midnight Concerns

My Hands on my face, I watch over the sky/

The Midnight sky, time ticking by/

I've seen great change, and reform/

Yet my hands of time are not yet worn/

I watched bell as he worked,/

A mysterious call/

I watched over this city, it did not fall/

I tower over them inspiration I represent/

The man who made me, claimed time well spent./

But as the midnight sky looms over this sleeping city/

13 tons I weigh, yet I remain here/

Standing tall, hands to the sky I fear/

That soon they will forget me,/

Please, London my dear.
