"Midnight Glow"

Midnight glow shines on the river The moon smiles as the shadows glisten. Stars intermingling with the evening dew, And the winds whisper silently to the soul Our love will never die. What makes this love thrive so? Is it the harrowing winds that chill the depths of my soul? Or is it the echoes in the night that fill the insurmountable void within? The answer remains hidden in the midnight glow- That fades into a distant memory. A lasting remnant of the ashes of yesteryear, Where a single question lies pondered yet unanswered. Was this love meant to be? Or was it nothing but a disaster in the making? Alas! The heart will never know, For this passion is but a forgotten relic of the days of yore.

RebelPoet

A small town New England poet from CT. I like figuring out ways to make words work. Suppose you could call me a Rebel Poet. I write about your standard themes in different ways. I also write about experiences, changes, etc. I'd like it if you'd read what I post and leave constructive criticism. I don't consider debates constructive or conducive to writing, though.
