Midnight Jazz

Your aura is so bright

It makes the sun jealous

Your warmth

Your touch

Smoldering

I’d love to toast myself

Around your fire

Crisping my edges

For you to slide off

You feel my chilled skin

Tracing my figure

Melting my exterior

Closing the gap

Effortlessly

How lucky am I

To have bonded so dearly

Without fear

Undoubtingly
