The Midnight Light, a Wanderers Plight
I see a bright light in the distance, off the side of the road. A modern day beacon to guide the lost, scared, and broken home. For travelers seeking warmth and shelter, or just a hero who's ran out of luck.
No room for the weak hearted or lazy, no safety is granted for those who are wicked or unjust. The broken come searching for the answers to questions not yet asked. The mended leave, confident about being alone, after finding a strength that was theirs all along.
None may leave with anything not their own, not a single rose or thorn. The burdens they have been carrying for others, all must move on. Answers and questions come and go like the oceans tides they must flow.
Riddles are thrown your way, but you musnt let them decide the Fate of your day. You have something no one can take or change, a soul that takes turns being broken or whole.
When I'm alone driving back home at night, I see this crazy, strange calling beacon of light. I never know if I should stop and go, I never know if Im broken or whole.
