Midnight Questions
What do you do when the center of your would has someone else at the center of theirs?
Do you forget about them even though forgetting them feels like forgetting how to breathe?
Do you pretend to be happy even though you know you’ll only be happy by their side?
What do you do when all you can think of is them but someone else occupies their mind?
Can you ever really get over them when everything around you reminds you of them?
Do you quit making wishes because they’re all about them and will never come true?
Do you quit listening to your favorite song because it stood for your love for them?
Or do you listen to it forever on repeat because it reminds you of a happier time in life?
Do you ever learn to sleep without them after holding onto to them at night for so long?
What do you do with all the thoughts you wish you could tell them but aren’t able to?
How do you look at them without seeing them kissing the one they really want to be with?
You learn to eventually fake happy just so they don’t see you falling apart and dying inside.
